Filing a Counter-Notice

Should you believe that your content was taken down as a result of a misunderstanding, error, or incorrect identification, you may file a counter-notice. To ensure your counter-notice is complete, please include the following:

• A clear description of the removed material and the location it appeared before it was taken down.
• Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address.
• A sworn statement made under penalty of perjury affirming that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
• A declaration that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any appropriate district where the platform operates) and that you will accept legal service of process from the complainant or their representative.
• Your electronic or handwritten signature.

After Filing a Counter-Notice

Once your counter-notice is received, we will share it with the original complainant. If they do not pursue legal action within the statutory period of 10–14 days, we may restore access to the content in question.
